Looking for cool ideas? Want to start a maker type club? Are you into badges? Check out Utilize their fee-based programs or go the free route by checking out challenges. Have you accomplished something that you want to proclaim to the world? With over 130 badges, you are certain to find something you identify with. Badges cost a nominal fee.




Curiosity Hacked’s motto is “Hacking the Way Children and Families and Children Learn.” Curiosity Hacked is a non-profit, inclusive organization dedicated to addressing the needs of the global maker community through STEAM education and skill building. Locations are popping up all around the US.



The Destination Imagination, a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization, works to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.  Their hands-on system of learning fosters students’ creativity, courage and curiosity through open-ended academic Challenges in the fields of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), fine arts and service learning. Teams are able to compete at tournaments.


The Navigators USA program, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to providing an inclusive, quality scouting experience for families.




First inspires young people to be science and technology leaders by engaging them in exciting Mentor-based programs that build science, engineering, and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership. With groups for different ages from Kindergarten through college, the FIRST program is comprised of First LEGO League, Jr., FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Challenge.



Founded by Jane Goodall, Roots and Shoots encourages children to make a difference in their local and global communities with projects that have an impact on humans, animals, and the environment.
